DPIAMA: An integrated approach for DPIAs and IAMAs
The DPIA (Data Protection Impact Assessment) and IAMA (Impact Assessment Human Rights and Algorithms) are powerful tools to map the risks of data processing and algorithms. In practice, it often occurs that a DPIA and an IAMA must be carried out for new processing. This can be done more efficiently. At Highberg, we have therefore combined these assessments in an innovative approach: the DPIAMA. With this, we help organizations to comply with the GDPR and AI Act simultaneously.
A DPIAMA focuses on the privacy of the data subjects, just like the DPIA. In addition, the DPIAMA, as required by an IAMA, also focuses on other human rights and a broader social impact. Our DPIAMA approach prevents duplication of work, offers a complete overview of all risks and results in concrete recommendations.

- Multidisciplinary approach: Experts from different disciplines, such as data scientists and ethics officers, work together to assess opportunities, risks and measures.
- Practical and proven: Our method is efficient, structured and tailored to practice. No unnecessary delays or duplication of work.
- Customization: You will receive a clear report, with concrete recommendations and visual insights.
- Efficiency: We combine the DPIA and IAMA in one process, with a joint workshop and one integrated report. This saves time for everyone involved in the DPIAMA and saves costs in the implementation.
At Highberg, we believe that compliance and ethics go hand in hand because both focus on responsible use of digital applications. Our DPIAMA approach helps organizations to use data and AI responsibly, while complying with legislation and societal expectations.
