Capabilities
For more than 30 years, Albert has gained experience as a Consultant, Program Manager, and (Interim) Manager. He works at the intersection of business operations, organizational development, and ICT. Albert helps companies and organizations with transformation and improvement, developing services, aligning strategy with execution, and enhancing organizational governance. He has experience in both the public and private sectors. Moreover, Albert is attentive to the organization and takes a people-centered approach. For him, the process of change is just as important as the outcome, especially knowing that change is a continuous process where employees and stakeholders are actively involved and acknowledged. Connection and collaboration are two of his core values. Albert believes that, no matter how much processes are automated and digitized, the ultimate focus is on the added value. He also believes that more time can be spent on the customer rather than on internal processes. For Albert, strategy and execution are intertwined and cannot be viewed separately. In his field of expertise, Albert contributes to societal challenges faced by government organizations through digitalization and improved governance. Since 2001, Albert has been an independent consultant and, since 2015, an Associate at Highberg. From 1991 to 2001, Albert worked at KPN, where he served as a member of the management team for the eBusiness Solutions business line, responsible for establishing business-to-business e-commerce. Additionally, within the international telecommunications business unit, he was Director of International Services at KPN US Inc. in New York.
