Petra Klören

In recent years, Petra has specialized in program management with a focus on change communication, learning, and development strategies. At Rijkswaterstaat, as the leader of the theme group Change, Learning, and Communication, she developed a communication strategy for the change initiative "learning to work with standards" after a thorough analysis of practice and stakeholders.
The strategy aims to ensure that different factions within the organization can hear and understand each other. She succeeded in getting teams to overcome internal barriers and prioritize the common good, leading to more successful collaboration.
This has contributed to a safer learning environment. The strategy has proven effective in practice and is now being implemented in several pilot projects.

Additionally, she has contributed to guiding this complex program through the assessment of the ICT Assessment Advisory Board (formerly BIT) by advising directors and executives, co-writing letters to parliament and reports, and translating them communicatively for the organization.
