Ferry is a results-driven and relationship-oriented Program Manager, Business Consultant, and Project Delivery Manager. He is energetic, dedicated to customer objectives, transparent, and a team builder with strong communication skills. Ferry brings structure to objectives and approaches, bridging the gap between business and IT, as well as between client and supplier. From the client's side, he has been responsible for large projects, European tenders, and guiding transformations/changes.
From the contractor's side, he has experience in managing customer expectations and ensuring results are delivered. His experience from both sides and his ability to understand the interests of all parties uniquely equip him to contribute successfully to Digital Transformations. Trust is a key element in Ferry's approach. According to him, it is the foundation in any environment where people work together. Without trust, a lot of energy is wasted as it does not contribute to the actual customer objectives.
Additionally, ownership is essential in creating successful teams, with individuals who take initiative and seek solutions rather than reporting problems. Ferry believes ownership is closely linked to trust, as ownership requires an environment where making mistakes is allowed.According to Ferry, in almost every work situation, both customer and supplier(s) are involved. While each has their own goals, Ferry believes that having shared objectives and ensuring that every contribution is successful delivers the best results.
An example of this is a supplier who commits to achieving the client's objectives and doesn’t focus solely on contractual obligations. Conversely, a client who puts a supplier under so much pressure that they can no longer succeed won’t foster a sustainable long-term relationship. Ferry has over 30 years of experience in various sectors, such as government, fresh produce, real estate/housing, telecommunications, banking, NATO, and manufacturing. Finally, as an entrepreneur, Ferry is always interested in exploring business opportunities, particularly in the Europe-Brazil arena.
