Caecilia Groot

The common thread in Caecilia's career is innovation: the roles she has taken on include those of Consultant and formerly those of (Program) Director, CIO, and CTO. Caecilia has also served as a board member, shareholder, and advisor. In these roles, she has demonstrated the ability to add value at a strategic level; she understands what is needed to achieve innovation, who is necessary or should be involved, and advises on the direction to take. Additionally, Caecilia guides organizations through their change plans and the (technological) change strategies to follow. To complete her wealth of experience, Caecilia completed the Supervisory Board Cycle at Nyenrode; for her graduation, she wrote a plea for the appointment of a Digital Commissioner. Caecilia has gained experience in various sectors: from the arts, public transport, and electronic payments, to healthcare and utilities. This has enriched her perspective on organizational issues and resulted in an active, engaging, and diverse network to this day. Caecilia's drive: to innovate and thereby improve (public) services or the organizations responsible for them. She derives the most energy from projects where business and IT grapple with complex issues. Caecilia helps them find an effective path for improved outcomes.
