What are you going to do as Junior HR Data Scientist?
Do you want to use your data skills to optimize Employee Experiences, while simultaneously helping renowned companies with their business performance? We are looking for people who are curious about human behavior, love data science and want to be part of the #1 People Analytics team in the BeNeLux.
As a Junior HR Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in HR projects focusing on people themes such as Engagement, Vitality & Absenteeism, Turnover, Diversity & Inclusion, and Strategic Workforce Planning. With your data science skills, you generate insights that enable our clients to take the right decisions on these topics. These decisions and subsequent actions will lead to a superior Employee Experience for employees at our clients, while also boosting the organizational performance.
Your work as Junior HR Data Scientist at Highberg
You will work for one or more renowned companies like NN Group, Jumbo Supermarkten, Friesland Campina and others. Together with your Highberg colleagues you will help our esteemed clients with generating diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive insights pertaining to People and Organizational challenges and opportunities.
- To generate these insights you will first combine, explore and transform data sets;
- Subsequently you will apply data science techniques to generate insights;
- Lastly, you will use your visualization and story telling skills to make the insights compelling and actionable.
What are we asking?
You have just graduated (master degree), or have up to 2 years working experience;
Eligible to work in the EEA without the need for visa sponsorship;
Available for ≥ 4 days a week and within 1 hour’s travel of our Amsterdam RAI office;
Knowledge of statistical / machine learning methods;
Proficient in Python, might have gained some experience with Azure, Databricks and PowerBI, or are interested in working with this technology stack;
Proficient in English. German language skills are a plus;

This position will be available as per 1 Feb 2025 (plus-minus one month);
Base salary ranging from EUR 3.382,- to 3.972,- per month and excellent benefits including performance pay, provisions for mobility, pension and leave;
