Internship Data Science

The People Analytics & Research Team at Highberg specializes in identifying, analyzing, and improving employee and HR-related challenges. The team transforms data into actionable insights, creating value for clients: turning data into profit!

As a Data Science Intern, you will conduct research on the types of challenges we encounter with clients. These could include:

• What is the impact of Agile working on employees?

• How will employee engagement evolve over the next 36 months?

• To what extent is the absenteeism process followed, where are optimization opportunities, and what are the consequences of deviations?

• Is there gender bias in the recruitment process?

• Which internal employee is best suited for an open position?

• How does an employee’s actual salary compare to what could be expected based on various background variables?

By answering such questions, you will help organizations perform better and empower individuals to unlock their full potential.

• Together, we will formulate your internship assignment;

• As a Data Science intern, you will conduct research into employee/HR issues that we encounter with customers. For example: Could data synthesis provide a solution for anonymizing data without compromising its characteristics?

• By answering such questions, you help organizations to perform better and the people in this organization to unleash their potential;

• To generate these insights you will first combine, explore and transform datasets;

• You then apply data science techniques to generate insights;

• Finally, you use your visualization and storytelling skills to make the insights convincing and actionable.
