Who are you?

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a partner to Highberg holding's leadership team, contributing to the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs. This role requires an HR professional with a strong background in employee relations, talent management, and HR projects. The HRBP will collaborate closely with the People Director and the HR officer to drive organizational effectiveness and foster a positive work environment. In the unique dynamics of Highberg, you’ll also be working together with HR colleagues in other parts of the business.

Most of your time and energy will be dedicated to projects and activities that are linked to the holding organization, where there are growing and newly formed teams. The HR expertise is still in development, so if you get enthusiastic from building something new – this might be the opportunity for you.

You’ll also be working on projects that will benefit the whole group, such as updating/improving the onboarding processes. These projects are characterized by striking a balance between creating a shared understanding, while at the same time provide space and opportunity to locally finetune it to the target audience. These projects are in close collaboration with the other (HR) professionals within the group.

Your work as HR Business Partner Highberg

  • You are a trusted partner to managers in challenging and realizing their people plans, ensuring they have the right people in at the right time.

  • Provide hands-on support and guidance on People matters (like performance, development, feedback, engagement, recruitment) to managers and support in complex case handling.

  • Partner effectively with key stakeholders (with other HR professionals in the Group and the management teams) to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.

  • Participate and drive various people projects and initiatives as needed.

  • Together with the People team, determine, implement, and execute (part of) the People strategy and roadmap.

What are we asking?

  • You have >3 years of experience as an HRBP or similar role.

  • You’re an excellent interpersonal and communication skills and think in a problem-solving way.

  • You have knowledge of Dutch labor law.

  • You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
