What are you going to do as HR Advisor?

As an HR advisor at Highberg, no day is the same because our HR setup ensures you are fully involved and (co-)responsible for all HR processes that arise. This means supporting managers with HR issues from their leadership role, coordinating the recruitment and selection process, and contributing to talent management. You will work alongside 3 other HR colleagues (HR assistant, HR advisor, and HR manager) as part of the HR team within Highberg Digital Transformation.

With your current knowledge of labor law, you ensure that personnel policies align with regulations. Additionally, you handle daily HR practices seamlessly: managing payroll in collaboration with an external party, guiding the onboarding and offboarding process, and serving as the point of contact for all colleagues regarding HR and payroll inquiries. Lastly, you support and assist the HR manager with various tactical and/or operational HR issues and projects.

Your work as HR Advisor at Highberg

  • You act as a sparring partner for managers and provide proactive advice on various HR-related topics.
  • You serve as a resource for employees on issues such as employment conditions and training.
  • You coordinate the recruitment and selection process, maintaining contact with external parties, providing substantive advice throughout the process, and conducting introductory interviews with potential candidates.
  • You ensure accurate monthly payroll processing in collaboration with others.
  • You handle absenteeism cases by maintaining contact with occupational health services, managers, and employees, and you are familiar with relevant legislation.
  • You coordinate internal training and development programs.

What are we asking?

  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a role involving (part of) these activities. Experience in (HR) consultancy is an advantage.

  • Minimum HBO-level education, preferably with training or certification relevant to this role.

  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch, both verbal and written, as you will engage in numerous conversations, collaborate with various stakeholders, and produce texts that are 'spot on' and flawless.

  • Available for a minimum of 32 hours per week and able to be physically present at the office in Zoetermeer (occasional remote work negotiable).
