Cloud Architect
Digital Transformation - Zoetermeer
What are you going to do as Cloud architect?
Cloud is rapidly gaining ground. We don't need to tell you that, of course. From IaaS to PaaS to SaaS, and even 'good old' BPO is making a strong comeback. Our clients are increasingly adopting modern cloud technologies and services, either leveraging them or transitioning from their own data centers. To support our clients in their transformation, we are strengthening our team and seeking a Cloud architect. Highberg is expanding, and we are looking for ambitious individuals who want to grow with us!
"At Highberg, there are core values that align with my approach. First and foremost, delivering quality for the client is highly prioritized at Highberg. Secondly, the goal is to achieve the best solution for the client. Thirdly, collaboration is key, working together with dedicated colleagues in a safe and inspiring environment."
Joost van Lier, Cloud architect at Highberg
Examples of projects you will carry out as Cloud architect
As a Cloud architect, you operate at the intersection of continuously evolving business operations and IT infrastructure, cloud applications, procurement of cloud services, and office automation. You serve as a dialogue partner for executives, CIOs, and other leaders, assisting them in achieving their goals with concrete advice. Naturally, you excel at articulating these recommendations effectively to your clients. You provide independent advice, free from product and vendor biases.
You achieve this by applying your advanced knowledge of virtualization, cloud platforms (such as Azure and AWS), and integration. You contribute to the development of IT architectures by translating visions into principles that guide your designs. You frequently collaborate with (ICT) managers, program/project managers, IT purchasers, and subject matter experts. The projects you undertake at Highberg are prestigious IT initiatives with significant societal impact.
What is our vision on cloud?
Organizations are grappling with the question of how extensively they should integrate cloud into their organizational and IT infrastructure. This decision can stem from intrinsic motivations, but we also frequently observe external drivers, such as competition or similar organizations.
At Highberg, we offer expertise that contextualizes cloud solutions for our clients. We prioritize aspects like flexibility, scalability, efficiency, innovation, and cost optimization. More importantly, we tailor our approach to meet each organization's specific needs. We believe that cloud technology should align with the problem it aims to solve. In practice, this means striking a balance between on-premises and cloud solutions. Highberg assists in finding and implementing this balance for our clients!
