What are you going to do as Business Controller?

Are you an analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers? We are looking for a Business Controller to join our team and play a crucial role in optimizing financial processes, analyses, and operations.

What you’ll be doing as Business Controller:

  • Reports and Analyses: Preparing periodic reports and analyses related to financial performance, such as revenue and margin development, productivity, rates, and cash flow;

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Preparing and presenting reliable forecasts and budgets, providing insight into the underlying drivers of revenue and costs;

  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively managing relationships with various stakeholders within the organization;

  • Ad-hoc Analyses: Conducting ad-hoc analyses and business cases to support decision-making;

  • Translating Complex Data: Translating complex financial data into clear and actionable insights for the business;

  • Business Partner: Acting as a business partner to the Managing Director and the management team, providing proactive advice.

What are we asking from you?

  • Completed HBO/WO education in Finance, Business Economics, or a similar field;

  • 3-6 years of experience in a similar role;

  • Excellent analytical skills and strong problem-solving abilities;

  • Experience in preparing financial reports, analyses, and budgets;

  • Strong communication skills and experience with stakeholder management;

  • A proactive attitude with the ability to independently initiate and implement improvements;

  • Experience with ERP systems and strong proficiency in Excel;

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
