Geert is a driven and versatile Program Manager at the intersection of organization, processes, and ICT, with a focus on cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance. With over 25 years of experience in both the public and private sectors, Geert has implemented security measures, legal and regulatory requirements, audit preparations, and helped organizations raise their information security and privacy maturity. Key tasks include implementing the continuous improvement cycle (PDCA cycle - management system), aligning it with the Planning & Control cycle, and establishing and embedding organizational structures for information security and privacy. Geert also has extensive experience in acting as an independent critical conscience (ICC) for various programs and clients. His motivation is to strengthen organizations, teams, and employees by making objectives clear and achievable.
