Summer Tradition at Highberg: New Summer Director Takes the Helm!
Solaiman Boubkari (26) is stepping in as the summer director for Highberg Digital. With the theme #PowerofDifference, Solaiman aims to emphasize the importance of recognizing and embracing differences among employees to enhance collaboration.
Summer director
The summer directorship has now become an annual tradition within Highberg Digital. In his role as summer director, Solaiman will temporarily take over the responsibilities of the directorship. This means he will lead over 150 professionals, make decisions, recruit new staff, approve proposals, and be involved in the organization's development. Essentially, he will take on all the responsibilities, with one exception: Solaiman is not authorized to fire employees.
Personal connections
Solaiman Boubkari: "A summer directorship naturally comes with a theme. This year, I chose a theme close to my heart that is significant both within and outside Highberg Digital. In an increasingly diverse society, it is more important than ever to understand not just each other's names and roles but also the backgrounds, values, and perspectives that make us unique. Highberg Digital is fundamentally about people; our strength lies in the individuals who work here. We believe in collaboration, striving for quality, and personal growth. The better we understand each other, the better we collaborate, and the greater the impact we have on our clients."
To achieve this, Solaiman plans to focus more on personal connections, both within and outside the workplace. This involves showing interest in each other, asking questions, and actively listening. There should be space for personal conversations where everyone feels free to share their stories.

Solaiman Boubkari: "Our ambition to grow has not only led to an increase in the number of employees but also to greater diversity within our team. We have become much more diverse in terms of age, experience, gender, cultural, and academic backgrounds. This diversity will only continue to grow. Such growth offers fantastic opportunities but also requires a new focus: how can we better understand and appreciate each other? During my summer directorship, I want to build an organization where everyone feels increasingly at home, where differences are valued, and where we genuinely get to know, understand, and respect each other. Together, we will create a more inclusive and connected work environment that everyone can be proud to be a part of."
This is Solaiman's first management position. Highberg provides its employees with a great opportunity to learn what running a large organization entails.
