As a Senior consultant strategic sourcing, you advise our clients in various phases of an IT sourcing project. Our goal is to help clients organize and manage their IT in a way that contributes to their organizational objectives. This can include faster innovation, higher quality, or cost control. By doing so, you support and guide the client as effectively as possible during the digital transformation that many of our clients face. Based on this goal, you and the client formulate the organization’s sourcing strategy. What should the organization handle internally, what can be outsourced, and what is the role of the cloud? All these topics may come up. You develop the business case for sourcing and assist the client in making the right decisions about whether or not to outsource.
Additionally, you take on, in various possible roles, the responsibility for supplier selection together with the client. Highberg carries out many (social) assignments within the public sector, often resulting from a European tender. You can take on a specialized role as a project manager, but also, for example, a generalist role as a quality controller.
