RTE Summit: Survival of the Quickest
Less is Moore, don't be the dinosaur!
Manage complexity by ensuring the basics are profound. Deepening the foundational simplicity of your agile environment!
This year’s theme brings together two powerful ideas:
First, it’s about getting back to the basics in how we work with Agile. In times of complexity, it’s the simple, foundational practices that matter most.
Second, it’s about keeping pace with exponential change— particularly the accelerating power of technology. That’s where the reference to Moore’s Law comes in. The event is hosted at a high-tech company this year, where Moore’s Law is more than a concept, it’s a mindset. Their internal motto reflects this drive for continuous advancement and scaling performance.
Through keynotes, collaborative workshops, light year talks and loads of networking opportunities. Participants can exchange insights and strategies for mastering technical, leadership, and facilitation skills, while showcasing innovative approaches for managing complex software development processes in agile environments.
Highlighting the exceptional journey of RTE mastery over the past ten editions together with you, this theme celebrates achievements and milestones while looking towards the future of the hybrid nature of RTE roles.

Business case 1 - Lost in Translation: Surviving Agility Across Time Zones and Tea Breaks (Milan Zbirkovsky and Maarten van den Berg from FedEx)
In a globally distributed agile environment, communication can easily become the biggest obstacle, especially when cultural nuances and time zone differences come into play. This session explores the hidden layers of collaboration, where agility is often “lost in translation.” From understanding before being understood, to navigating cultural expectations around communication (yes, even tea breaks!), we’ll dive into the crucial role of the RTE as a facilitator, not just a coordinator.
Business case 2 - Failing to prepare, is preparing to fail! (Marcel Beers and Robert Agterberg from Athora)
we’re excited to talk about something that’s often underestimated, but absolutely critical to success in SAFe: preparation. Throughout our journey, one lesson has stood out: if you don’t prepare well, you’re preparing to fail.
Business case 3: Siemens Energy (Simon Hewitt from Siemens Energy)

A journey from hackathon to production where it is about stepping into the unknown, embracing new technology, fostering collaboration, and building responsible AI solutions that last.
