Mark van Dijk – CEO

 

Mark is the Chief Executive Officer of Highberg, responsible for setting the firm’s strategic direction and guiding its development into a unified European transformation consultancy. With extensive experience as CEO and COO at international organizations, Mark brings deep leadership expertise. Before joining Highberg, he was Chief Operating Officer for Northern Europe at dentsu. In earlier roles within the organization, he served as CEO for the Benelux and the Netherlands. Mark oversees international growth, governance, and long-term value creation. He is committed to positioning Highberg as a trusted partner contributing to a stronger and more resilient Europe.

 

Jan-Pieter van Vreeswijk – CFO

 

Jan-Pieter is the Chief Financial Officer of Highberg, overseeing financial strategy, financing, governance, and performance management across the organization. He is a chartered account and brings broad experience from senior finance and transformation roles within the professional services sector. Before joining Highberg, JP was CFO at HeadFirst and held several senior finance roles in Randstad. JP ensures that Highberg grows in a responsible and sustainable manner, providing the financial stability and oversight required for Highberg’s European expansion.

Layla Dolfen – COO

 

Layla is the Chief Operations Officer of Highberg, responsible for operational effectiveness and organizational development across the firm’s international footprint. She brings experience from senior roles in consulting operations and transformation management, with a focus on scaling organizations and ensuring operational excellence. Layla oversees cross-country collaboration, internal processes, and capability development, ensuring Highberg operates cohesively and is well-positioned for continued growth.

Zivver acquired: Is the protection of your sensitive data at risk?

On September 18th, questions were raised in the Dutch House of Representatives about the acquisition of the Dutch data security company Zivver by the American company Kiteworks. Zivver provides systems for the encrypted exchange of highly sensitive information, such as medical data, via email, chat, and video. Zivver’s clients include hospitals, healthcare institutions, government agencies, municipalities, and financial and legal service providers. Although Zivver emphasizes that data will continue to be stored within the EU, its new American ownership raises concerns. Organizations relying on Zivver for the secure communication of highly sensitive data must now carefully assess the risks and consider potential alternatives.
